Create a free account, then connect this Windows PC in one flow.
The installer is private because it pairs a real computer to your account. You do not need to expose an inbound port or publish your files anywhere.

From download to Online.
Install
Download and run the LocalCommander installer on the Windows PC you want to control.
Approve
The app opens your browser with the computer name. Click Connect this PC once.
Verify
The app receives its device credential automatically and the computer appears Online.
Leave it running
When the companion is connected, ChatGPT can route approved tasks to that PC.

Installing Windows is only half of the setup.
After the PC shows Online, connect LocalCommander in ChatGPT. Until the public directory listing is available, use the manual Developer Mode setup.

Why the installer is behind an account
A LocalCommander account owns your paired computers, usage limits and ChatGPT authorization. Keeping the installer behind sign-in makes pairing an intentional account action instead of an anonymous public download.
